What it's like to work here
Temple Quay is a small, but rapidly expanding company with great plans for the future. Unlike many of our competitors, we operate less like a sales-led organisation and more like a service-based organisation. We like to build relationships with our clients and candidates.
Our working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, but there’s usually someone in the office from 8.00am until 6.00pm or 6.30pm. We encourage our staff to stick to the core time, but we appreciate that different people have different working styles and prefer to start early or work late.
Maria King, our Senior Appointments Team Leader, has been with us for over XX years. Following her degree and participation in a graduate training scheme she worked as a PA in an IT/Hospitality organisation before joining us as our office manager. She has been a successful recruitment professional with us for over 6 years and is now one of our Senior Consultants.

No day is the same and the pace is always fast, whether it is writing reports, interviewing candidates, taking briefs or reviewing applications. The telephones in the office are never quiet and we all welcome contact from clients and candidates. It is not a role where you are sat at a desk all day and it’s great being able to meet candidates and clients face-to-face.
Providing a high level of service is core to our culture and the team is really dedicated and supportive. I have always been challenged in my role here and as I have developed, although it is sometimes a challenge, working here is fulfilling and as a result, I have always been passionate about my role here.
